EYSA Field Complex
EYSA has approached Exeter Township to discuss a parcel of township-owned land along Rugby Road. The land appears to be suitable for a field complex that would support EYSA at its current size, and allow for future growth. This would be a wonderful accomplishment for the Township and EYSA -- a centralized location where Exeter kids could play soccer (and maybe other sports such as lacrosse) on a top notch facility.
Of course, this will not happen overnight. And rest assured that funding will not come from registration fees -- we will need to fund this project separately from individuals and companies in the surrounding area. We will also need a lot of hard work from volunteers.
EYSA parents, your child's coach will be approaching you with a petition to show our interest in developing the facility. Please sign the petition if you agree with investigating the complex further -- this will help convince Exeter Township that there is strong support for the project within the community.
