Registration is now OPEN for the SPRING 2018 TRAVEL PROGRAM, birth years 2010 and older (U8 and up). The spring 2018 season will start on or about March 3rd, the first
game will be March 17th, and the season will end on April 29th. There will be no games on Easter weekend. The spring season is a 6 game season with no playoffs. This season is
highly dependent on weather and inclement conditions could delay the beginning of the season. Should anything change we will notify you as soon as possible. This is an excellent
opportunity to register with RainedOut for any updates from the club. You can easily register to our notification system at the link provided below.
EYSA is offering the U8 age group (2010 birth year) the opportunity to play Travel IF there is enough interest throughout our club AND if there is interest in the league. U8 (2010) players may have the option of playing in the U9 (2009) B, T3 division. U8 parents will then be required to purchase an EYSA Travel uniform at Sneaker Villa once we are certain that we can field a team(s).
*NOTE: For all U5-U7 registrants, THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS OUR SPRING RECREATIONAL PROGRAM. We will be sending the information sometime in early 2018 for all of our younger players. Please click on our 2018 Spring Kick Start Progam Flyer for more info about playing travel for the Spring season.
This is a fun developmental program intended for U5 through U7 players. The programs goal is to develope technical and fundamental soccer skills. The kids will work on skills by participating in fun activities for the first 40 minutes of each session. The last 20 minutes will be scrimmages with no set teams – pinnies will be used and teams will be different each week.IMPORTANT REMINDER: U8 players wishing to participate in this program should simply send an email to U7/U8 Coordinator Tom McAuliffe, requesting to be placed in the Recreational Soccer Program in lieu of Instaskills.
Players will work on technical skills including ball control, dribbling, and footwork. Each session lasts 60 minutes. This is a great developmental program that focuses on skills otherwise hard to effectively teach in practice during the regular season.
